Great little urban trig lucky to survive big 3 inch bolt been there since 1948!!!

(1538) Cheeky parking at Aldi, then followed the public footpath just passed Sainsburys petrol station. Quite a steep climb to get to the bolt's location. Too early for any ravers to be about today. Bolt soon found, and quite impressive to see. A few nettles needed to be gingerly removed prior to photographing. View from the bolt to below is Aldi's carpark. Nice one to tick off the list all told. And walking back down was loads better!

Big brass/green bolt set into concrete at the side of the path- couldn't miss it. Not, as mentioned before, the most pleasant area to hang about in the evening but fine in middle of the day. Approached from crematorium side but easy access up steps opposite Sainsburys.

Large shiny bolt set in a concrete block beneath the fence. Easily found on the footpath.

SK39 T093 BLOCK. We approached this one with foreboding as the local "yoof" were sitting nearby at the top of the quarry edge, drinking and "socialising". However, how wrong we were, we just walked past and they carried on and so did we. Good job we did as we were greeted with a huge 3" conical bolt on top of a large concrete (but damaged) block located under a fairly recently installed replacement fence. Overlooks Sainsbury's many 10s on m beneath.
