No access to tower and building now in a bad way. Wouldn’t even like to attempt a trip up the tower to search

Cat B listed building, 1913. Formerly part of the Gates Rubber Company manufacturing car tyres. Parked at a factory entrance (NX 9887 7910), Heras fencing not quite doing what it's supposed to. Interesting wander round in and through the site. Stairwells to the tower all secured. OS record the rivet destroyed June 1988, but is that merely that they no longer needed it, will it actually have been removed? Maybe the roof had work done on it; no access to investigate.
