Following M&K's directions; straightforward to find. Block with 1" dia bolt exposed. Easy approach via surfaced lane - busier than expected. Views of towers: Darwen, Holcombe and Manchester. Circular walk from Entwistle railway station; a request stop - the train only halts if you signal to the driver :)

Done after a job in Darwen early finish today, with a few benchmarks on the way. Nice Stroll up on the tarmac road starting at SD 7055 1919. A short walk from the stile to a raised up area to the block. Great view here large brass bolt another great Mick n Kim Find.

Visited whilst on BM hunt,walked up from Bull Hill Lane to the NW at Bolton Road.I arrived on the 1 Bolton bus from Blackburn,fantastic views to Winter Hill Mast, Darwen Tower & Studley Pike. Such a beautiful morning I decided to change my planned walk back into Darwen from here and revisit Druidicial Circle instead.
