GPS wandering but suspect just to east of path at high point. With absolute eye of faith tree carved with OS marker. Might try again in winter with less nettles and leaf cover. Top of bank has been made up as there is geotextile underneath.

GPS wandering but mostly indicated W side of path at highpoint. Someone else had been digging there recently, maybe left it unlogged for a revisit? Easy digging, large stones a foot down may be marker stones or natural ground. Couldn't remove them as too well wedged for folding spade. A few walkers but no-one enquired. Should be findable, needs better GPS fix, luck or OS sketch
