10 months later and the crisp packet is still there. amazing. Easy big indent in the grass with the block at the bottom. Another surface block in the bag.

1" bolt in block, exposed in 4" deep hole marked with crisp packet. Approx 34m from telegraph pole, 1ft left of post with nail, 1m back from road edge.

Went with SpidyM but absolutely no idea where the damned thing was, and as this site was down at the time there was nothing to access via WAP to check. And from IainMacs picture it looks like he was standing on top of it all along!! We will return...

SpidyM cant find it either! The famous SpidyM looks longingly at his etrex for help, but to no avail...

Darn couldn't get to this one as it appears overgrown and didnt take pics off the site so appart from GPS had nothing else to go on. Also the land owner happened to be passing and asked what i was doing. Told him I lost something :p

Found it with the aid of the OS sketch, using the pin in the top of the post to guide. The block is nominally clear, but very well camoflauged by the thriving spring growth of the grass in the roadside verge. Good views.
