A strong contender for My Favourite Pillar. Not only is it in excellent condition, and sited in a prime location with an expansive view, but the footpath leading to it from the east (thank you mickandshane and Father Ted) is exceptionally beautiful, too. The folly is nothing to write home about, but the footpath leads across the top of an old limekiln, which is worth a look.
