It's not often I give up, but I struggled through the gorse and walked around the water tank. At one stage my GPS said I was only 0.94m away from the trig, but I couldn't see it and gave up trying to reach it. The gorse is so high and dense. Well done to those who've bagged it.

Parked at the end of the track to the bio plant. The gorse is best attacked from the East side of the tank.

Really struggled to find this one, for now it is completely absorbed by the grasping gorse. And did I have my secateurs with me? You know the answer! Eventually discovered it, surprisingly close to the farm tank (hadn't seen iainmac's photo prior to my visit.) Cap in place with deep lettering; all sight-holes open. Glad to get off the 'island'.

Buried in gorse! Easy enough to access up track and an agricultural structure amongst the gorse gives an indication of where to find it.

Second visit. For photographs and GPS measurement. SITE VISIT: Overall approach from southeast. Parked by SE side of road at NO846746. Up communal track opposite which becomes overgrown towards top. Short careful ~20m trough hop across planted field to commence pillar search in gorse clump. Found, surrounded by high dense gorse which was thinned for photography. Pillar in good condition. Spider retains OS centre cap with deep indented letters. Flush bracket faces northeast, ~51°. All sight holes open, innards blocked with debris. No view from pillar due to height of gorse.
