As others have done, measured out from the sketch, to realise the rivet has been lost due to modifications to the slab.

There is indeed a large concrete slab surrounding the numerous metal covers but there is no sign of an OS rivet. Easy parking alongside. The site is on the verge of a junction of a couple of minor roads. There is a partial view northwards to Bridgwater and the Mendips.

OS sketch puts the location of the rivet on the water board installation, but there's nothing there to be seen. This one's a goner alright. GPS not much help as I was only getting about 14m accuracy from it.

Precise location found using OS sketch http://www.gps.gov.uk/stationpics/gif/C1ST2833.gif However, this skectch was drawn in 1993 and the concrete surround appears to be not so old. Also sketch of cover shows different shape/proportion to existing cover - see my photo aside. The rivet is therefore probably missing. I have let the OS know using the 'contact us' on the above website and I will post any reply here - Robin
