Exposed plinth. Corner of grassy cow field. Sea views. From Lower Bigging. Mapped gaps between fences are very overgrown so went initially south then east along fence.

Drove farm track to E for ~700m parking at HY 3994 2076. Pillar has lost its cap, and replacement plug has been holed; all sight holes open. Extensive island views.

Much better walk today for my second walk up to the pillar this month. Love the views over Rendall with the setting sun on the walk down.

Walked from Puldrite to Rendall, then along track. After the trig walked to Queenamuckle and back to Puldrite via Hall of Rendall. Excellent walk although no picture as pouring with rain.

Easy bag from the west after parking at the beginning of a farm track uphill from the church with Jim Bloomer and Tricky Speirs. It began to rain when we were nearly at the top.
