Cleared a small amount of grass cuttings to find this little rivet. My first rivet find.

On concrete at end of barrier. With local spectators waiting for a bus - suspect they thought we were a bit mad!

Final trig on our 2-day Dartmoor tour, bagged en-route home to Wilts. Easy spot on concrete crash-barrier anchor having viewed OS photo and sketch. Thin covering of turf removed with boot.

I totally agree with Widget that this is an awsome and amazing site. There is a very nice horse chestnut tree near the Post office which is about all I can say.

On the way home from Devon and calling in the Killerton House and Budlake Post Office, which is about 100 yards from the rivet. This was easy to find - the grass cutters had been around. A lucky survivor of the M5, I think

Wooooaaaahhh! Exciting....not! My first "Rivet" which was found with the aid of the OS sketch map. The only thing that can be said for this spot is that it is close to 3 interesting National Trust sites worth a visit, especially Killerton!
It's right next to the blue ciggy packet!
About the size of a nipple, but less exciting
