Parked at little pull in at the start of the PROW then followed edge line to Pillar. Trig sits hidden in the edge line behind the house. Does still retain all its metal work

Parked on southbound side of A697. A convenient layby and a finger post that indicates a safe place to park a car. A field walk parallel to to road and uphill north to pillar. Trig retains spider centre plug and is well protected by surrounding shrub. The parking presents more challenge than the walk to this pillar. Having said that I pass this often and glad to have bagged.

Took the opportunity of an 'essential journey' to the Cash n Carry to stop off and revisit my least favourite Northumberland TP, knowing there was virtually no other traffic on the road so getting away from here would be less of a game of Russian Roulette with the A697 traffic. Still overgrown, but nevertheless still there...

Not the best of places to find a parking spot, but did manage to get into the entrance for the mast on the opposite side of road from trig. I wouldn't advice it very tricky getting out onto a very busy fast road. Accessed trig along field edge.

A nice way to interrupt our journey south on our way home from the Boarders Region. Parked south of the trig point as others have advised and it was then an easy stroll back up through the field of stubble to find the trig point. Did a bit of gardening to expose the FB and take some photos.

I parked at a small pull off on the left, about 100m down the hill to the south. Either walk back up the road; or up the field via adjacent stile and gate.

Parked on the tiny tarmac layby at the side of the trig. Pillar is located at fence corner. As others have mentioned, the parking location is just beyond a blind summit on a busy road. It's a bit of a heart in mouth moment as you leave.

Felt parking directly west of trig dangerous. Used pull-in south-bound, opposite 40mph road sign on north-bound side, at NZ143964

There is a small tarmac patch on the southbound side of the A697 but care is needed on this fast road as you are parking up just over a blind summit. The TP, as others have observed, is very overgrown! The TP is flush against a wooden fence making it impossible to get any access to the north or west sides of the TP, thus rather spoiling my attempt to get photographs of all 4 compass points of every TP visited!

All sights closed with a very worn cap. Lots of bird poo and surrounded by nettles - found out that my rip-proof trousers are not stingy nettle-proof! Take care - it has a very dodgy blind corner on the main road.Jubilee trig#4.

Field gate on main road at S side of Bellamour house. TP is in field at SE corner of house's boundary fence. I agree with the comment about the undergrowth. Cycling shorts don't protect you from nettle stings ! But a nice evening's trip out on the road bike nevertheless, combined with a visit to Beacon Hill.

Trig pillar in good condition. Spider retains OS centre cap. Flush bracket on south face of pillar. This trig is somewhat hidden by the surrounding undergrowth at the edge of a rape field. Not too far from the road so not difficult to find. Visited and photographed 16/05/2000, GRP.
