This was always one I thought I would do between buses from Halbeath P&R but today, unusually, I had transport and was travelling home from Edinburgh. The M9O Northbound was closed though so I came off at Inverkeithing and headed for Hill of Beath and followed up with a walk up Bishop Hill. It was very blustery on Hill of Beath, I could barely stand but other wise an easy enough walk from a carparking spot at NT146896. The cap was missing but otherwise the pillar seemed in good condition. I didn't hang around as it was near imposible to stand up. On the way back down I was able to gather some sloes for making sloe gin. The wind lessened considerably for my next walk.

Secondary station in Block NT18, Dunfermline. Pillar VGC, extra concrete been poured around base to combat erosion. Spider centre is open and vertical tube is filled with stones, rubble and other misc crap almost to the top. Flush bracket faces south to West Cairn Hill, levelling staff holders destroyed.
