Standard square concrete chipped one top corner otherwise GC in beech hedge accessed from field side. Field currently has crop of wheat but no problem walking along edge of the hedge. Part of the OS GPS network. Freshening SW wind rain showers.

Not visible from road due to thick hedge. . Easily found from field ie west. though fb faces south. Squeezed through hedge to field. Passing place at south end of field were parked briefly. Damaged corner. Whilst visiting nearby Clare FBM

Pillar in hedge. Mostly good condition with a lump knocked off one top corner. FB faces south-west-ish with the south-east-ish sighthole open only. Cap missing with plastic disc present. Good views.

Layby (passing place?) parking 30m or so N of the pillar. Across a dry ditch into field and walked back to it. Top looks like it's suffered flailer damage. Centre tube plugged by a composite disc; RHS sight hole not checked, other 3 closed. FB facing S, awkward to photograph without cutting back some hedging material. Good farmland views W.

Managed to drive up the lane to just past Leys Farm. The farmer had been out clearing the road of snow back towards the A1092 and a short distance north towards the trig point .But we couldn't get any further. So had to use welly power to walk to trig.

Knew where to look after the previous logs.Crops in field and the vegetation is thick.Trig ok,still has a chunk out the corner (Farmer Palmer's hedge trimmer I suspect).
