Convenient car park was inconveniently full and overflowing, and I had to park on the roadside verge with a number of other folk, none of whom seemed interested in the trig pillar. Was irritated to find someone had clipped my wing mirror by the time I returned. Still, not a huge price to pay for a haul of three pillars. Obviously, this one's the nearest, and is very easily accessible from the field side via the gate next to the car park. A nice easy bag, in stark contrast to the other two...

Sits by the roadside just south of the High & Over car park at Seaford. Easy to find. Walk through the woods to the Cuckmere river valley for fantastic views as well as the huge chalk horse carved into the hillside, you will be standing right on it 50 yds away from CP so look carefully. The Comp pillar is 30 mins walk to the west.

Parked very near at the NT car park looking mainly for the Alfriston FBM. Nice surprise seeing this one. Very much roadside and able to touch pillar over the fence..although you can go in the field. Greta views to be had on this sunny day. Pillar in good condition.

After geocaching along Seaford seafront I decided to head up to the Up and Over car park and take a look at this trig. There are fantastic views from up here and if you take the path to the east of the car park you get spectacular views over the meandering Cuckmere river.

On side of road to Alresford, so easy parking in adjacent layby. Plastic plug. No paint. OS anti-vandal plaque. Sightholes closed. Concrete base exposed 4" all round - sheep gathering spot! Greta views along the Cuckmere River to the S.

We visited this trig on our way back from caching in Abbots Wood. Lovely views and the lambs watched in mild amusement whilst we found the camera for a photo, only to find the battery was dead! So no picture to add with this log.

As mentioned this is very easy with a car park right next to it. Views are ok of Cuckmere Haven but it's well worth walking down from the car park to see the Cuckmere meandering off to the Haven and a very different view of a newly rechalked white horse.

They do not get much easier than this one. Having just found my 1000th geaocache nearby it was a pleasure to bag this trig also. The nearby FBM proved a bit more of a challange.

Came up here to bag YSM146, the FBM just down the road, but it would have been churlish not to bag this one as well. Used the adjacent car park. Very easy, just inside the fenced field but very accessible. The centre plug has been replaced with a plastic bung bur apart from that, all is well with this pillar.

I wasn't even looking for this one as I passed by en route to Seaford today but had already passed parking place so didn't stop. I probably noticed the pillar first way back in 1974 when I was last working in this area. Stopped by here on my way back from Brighton (work again) July 15 2010, this time to actually look at the trig. This must rank as one of the easiest trigs to visit, it is very close to the road, albeit the other side of the fence, it is adjacent to a convenient public parking space and the flush bracket can be viewed from the road side - beware the electric fence. Location always worth a visit for views and walks.

As mentioned before by others, easy one to bag as next to High and Over car park near to Alfriston village. You can access the TP easily (as it is on National Trust land) from a gate leading off from the car park. Grand views to the North and South.
