In fine weather I could happily spend all day visiting trigs in this part of the country, wonderful views guaranteed ! Arrived here after giving up on Lindley Moor, otherwise it would have been 4 this afternoon. Parked at Stainburn Forest car park - junction of Broad Dubb Road/Norwood Lane and took a leisurely and enjoyable walk through forest path. Pillar is on farmland just over other side of wall.

Easily accessible and visible. I used the tracks from Little Almscliff car park. Easy to climb over broken wall but a little more difficult to straddle the barbed wire topped fence. Restrcted views with the adjacent forest. Pillar in good condition with plastic plug and all four holes open.
