Parked roadside. Trig sits behind log pile, still covered in ivy

Roadside verge parking opposite. Pillar sits on a low banked field boundary, behind the log pile. Covered with ivy but access reasonably easy. The centre cap is missing, no plug; sight holes not checked. No views.

Had to have two attempts to get to this one. My first approach was from the field side and whilst the pillar was visible it was not accessible. The went over the gate into an area of logs and clambered round them to get to the pillar. Seemed to be in good condition and quite well protected.

Top slightly chipped, no cap or plug. On N hedgebank.

On a hedge about 10-15m south of the road, access through a gap in the hedge by the road. Now that it's winter, the nettles I previously encountered had died back, and the access point from the road had opened up. To the west of the trig, there are two roads heading down the hill to the north from the main road, I found space to park in the western one, near where the two roads meet. Nice view north.

A hedge separates this one from the field to the east, so access looks to be from the west. However, after having trudged through about 100m of undergrowth, I was stopped about 10 metres away from the trig by a wall of nettles that was taller than me! Nonetheless, there are some nice views looking northwards from the field to the east.

I parked in a gateway to the east of the trig then doubled back on foot to find this one set back around 10 metres from the road, with views to the NE only.
