Walked to this pillar from Glyncorrwg village, parked near the Rugby club and then up the forestry roads to the pillar, this pillar is best accessed from the mountain bike trail which passes within 10 yards of it through the trees. We did a circular walk of 8 miles which included this trig. Flush Bracket and spider are in place but the centre plug is missing and the sight holes are open, the pillar is in good condition but has a good covering of moss. The what3words location is spot on.

Came up through Glyncorwg, lots of parking on left just before church at the end of the cycle track. Then short walk up and right just after church then a sharp left up steep narrow wet path well marked but wet until you meet the forestry track then simple steady climb to top around 45 mins maybe. Pillar good, Spider and Flush Bracket. No cap.Sight holes open.

Visited on a geocaching walk with meltdiceburg. Climbed up from Glyncorrwg. The first time I've ever managed to get onto a trig unaided!

Up from Glyncorrwg on the forest tracks having read that the paths were not in a good state. A gentle gradient all the way. Approached pillar via the mountain bike track and then caught sight of it through the trees. It sits in a little clearing of its own.

From Cefn Mawr pillar. Someone must have tried to drive to this one a long time ago as there's the very disintegrated remains of a car in the trees near the trig. Followed the mapped bridleway back to Glyncorrwg. The last third of the track is non-existent and is a very boggy hack through brambles. Was not amused when I finally got back to the car!

From Glyncorrwg. Good forest track to Cefn Mawr pillar first, then along the Coed Morgannwg Way, now a well made wind farm access road, to here. Pillar sits in a small clearing near the edge of a conifer plantation 70m off the path but with good access. Top cap is missing and there is no plug; front sight hole is sealed, other 3 open. No views.

Very tricky trig to access but we wanted to replace the missing cache! The nearby wind farm is well worth a visit if you've come up this far!

Found trig (and the cache) during a long circular caching walk. Pillar in same condition as previously reported, its pretty safe as its not the easiest one to find so no wouldbe vandals should stumble across it.

vgc, metal cap, wide raised letters, very neat, not at all like (e.g.) Kintyre caps. Small clearing at flat summit, just N of area of dead trees and deep tussock. Easily linked with Cefn Mawr.

A good one to do at night, really tests your skills. Found whilst grabbing the nearby cache. Trees totally block the view now, but it must have been good when it was built

My second trig officially visited whilst on Rally GB. This is some walk or ride if you go outside the Rally GB, however there is a nice Cache here as well. Great fun in the dark. Find near by forest trail rather than going across the long grass HAHA PHOTO can be found at CACHE page.
