2Signs on the track to the N. One says Private Road do not enter,the other directs you to a Picnic spot.I drove up anyway ,but its a bit rough.pillar is 100m to the SE of picnic area but still driveable.

We walked down the lane from the north but you could drive down as far as the wood where there is a picnic area. Bleak landscape. Plug missing.
