(1804) Checked out at the same time as visiting the surface block - TP8593. Pillar would have originally stood fairly near to that. Pillar history: Built on the 13th of March 1937. Build cost and last maintained by the OS date not listed in the archive. Marked as destroyed in March 1961. FB is recorded as being S1734.

Pillar gone. The site is marked 'Obsevatory' on OS Explorer 270; perhaps a copyright trap rather than a typo.

There is a concrete base that could be from an old trig but difficult to be 100% certain it is related as so much old debris on site.

Circular mound (former reservoir) with old building on top, next to Sherwood Observatory. Thought that this might be a good vantage point to photograph the sunset - but it wasn't really. Didn't see any trace of the TP, but then didn't go hunting in the grass and gorse.

Not sure why this is a piller, the given co-ords take you to a block of concrete. After removing the grass that wass covering the block, i found a large Rivit, so the Trigg is there, just no longer a piller

Yes, not on the OS map and no trace of the pillar by the observatory. I wonder if this is the one that has gone to Mansfield College?

Co-ords lead us to Sutton Observatory but no sign of the pillar

This location is an Observatory, and there is no sign of a trig point pillar. Quite good views over the local countryside though.
