Had a nostalgic drive along the North Norfolk Coast and grabbed whatever Trigs were easy to come by. Simply parked up on the verge at the junction and walked over tot he pillar. I thought the views may have been a bit better for a trig in such a nice part of the country, but at least it was nicely out in the open.

My first summer holiday in Norfolk with Melissa. An overnight in Hunstanton and picked this up en route to Great Yarmouth. You can park next to this trig and bag it, being on a lane just off the A149. It's a nice spot too with views of the sea.

Visited 3 times today, start of the beautiful 7 mile circular walk including fine windmill, church, meadows, woods and scary thundery clouds (and a more humane set up for pigs than the usual) takes us back for a 2nd visit. Final 3rd visit with tea from Eric's chippy down the road as a silvered sun lowers over the Wash after a visit to the coast.

There was just time to whiz up the hill to bag the TP. The quality of the light was wonderful at that late hour and after spending much of the day at Titchwell we were rewarded by watching a barn owl hunting over the fields as we drove back down to the main road.

Compared to the nearby FBM, this is a doddle, being by the side of the lane at a junction. Ashphalt plug replacement. No paint. W sighthole open. Concrete base exposed about 4" all round. Excellent views N to The Wash and Lincolnshire coast.

A very proud trig sitting at the corner of a T junction.Remains of white paint on surface and in good condition considering "Farmer Palmer" with his agricultural machinery!!!

A good view from here to the coast. The plug is missing but opening sealed. A shoot was under way as I visited and a number of beaters were dropped off here to walk down the field. Logged grid reference to 10 metres only.
