Parked just at the entrance to the field, ground was hard under foot so followed the trams tracks as much as possible to the trig.

Field has growing crop, so just photographed it from the edge. Half the hedge has been ploughed out and sown so no field edge to access it marooned in the remaining section.

(1156) Parked up at the bend on Humber Side Road. Short walk across the field, which wasn't too muddy thankfully. Pillar in hedge but not obscured. All good. Pillar history: Built on the 9th of March 1939, at a cost of £3 14s 9d. Last maintained by the OS in May of 1987.

2nd of 7. Fairly easy to find. From the track bend where there is a gap in the hedge, and along a adjacent hedge. As others, I ignored the GOML sign from the embankment southwards.

Down a track from village of Weeton, parked on the verge and went hunting. The trig is in a hedge that separates two fields, and is about 50 yards from the road.

Parked on the bend in the track and walked along the hedgeline. Didnt hang around, this was a shoot and scoot as the opposite field was full of farm workers and about seven tractors.

Located in a fairly thin hedge, FB facing south. There is not even a disused windmill anywhere nearby on my 1962 (1968 reprint) One-Inch map so I too am puzzled by the name. GR to 10m only.
