We parked up in the large lay-by on Woolley Low Moor Lane, nipped over the road and into the woods opposite. There are no fences or dissuasive signage, and plenty of clear paths on the ground, so access was very straightforward. The pillar sits atop a small rocky hill two hundred metres to the south, and is in good condition albeit weathered and with a replacement asphalt cap. We returned the same way, enjoying the lovely views over to the Emley Moor mast. Pillar #86 for my little trigbagger.
