Roadside playpen, parked down the road in a field entrance on opposite side of road to FBM. What a busy road, probably not a good idea to be walking up it in the dark dressed in black! No height tag. With Coinneach Hutch.

Bagged whlle waiting for car to be serviced at nearby North Petherton, I have cut back brambles, ivy & branches but it will probably be overgrown again in the summer.

After completing circuit in the Quantocks earlier that day we drove back via this FBM, next onto Brent Knoll. This one would be hard if it had no fence.

Roadside in playpen. Becoming very overgrown with a number of substantial saplings growing within playpen. Rising ground level due to accumulation of rotting vegetation slowly consuming the FBM. Could do with a good clean out but raining and insufficient time or light for today. Height tag missing, no other damage visible.

Very overgrown, tidied up the area, cut back the overgrowth and moved the inner tube out of the enclosure. A granite block with height tag missing.

I can see it but its completely enveloped in brambles and foliage. Heading out of North Petherton its behind the railings in the hedge on the left hand side. Impossible to see while driving. I didn't have a crutch available to beat back the bushes.

Look for the railings on the left bank of the road travelling south, they are not easy to spot being overgrown and painted black. Had to clear away some vegetation within the enclosure to find TP, used my wife's elbow crutch to do this which she said attracted some bewildered looks from passing motorists.

The pillar sits inside its bramble and nettle filled playpen by the side of a minor road and was reached by walking the short distance from its auxiliary Bernsten. Peeking through the railings the mark can be seen amidst the brambles with its bolt and OS GPS plate. There is no view from the site.

Very worth a visit. This must be one of the few places where there are 3 trigs within 100 feet of each other.
