The gate was locked and the man said it would not be opened again until Easter 2022 so I was not going to wait around that long.

Found near an ornate lamppost, all that was needed was snow and Mr Tumnus. No view here as track cut through stone to provide access to castle.

As per previous logs easy access via gateway off main road, couldn't spot it at first and thought you might have to pay to enter the castle, then there it was behind me with it's Narnia style lamppost close by.

Easy access up from gateway. FBM is in a recess in the rock next to an ornate lamp post. Absolutely filthy and could do with another clean. The recess collects leaves and dirt and I guess when it rains it gets splattered.

As previuosly noted, a peculiar site down in a rock cutting, but easily found. Followed a very familiar route out from home and lunch in town before heading on to stay in Stow-on-th Wold.

Easily accessed FBM via the main gate of Warwick Castle and along the odd high-sided road towards the castle. In a nook on the north side near an old lamppost. Poor GPS reading due to the lack of visible sky! Height tag present, which is unusual. 182.43ft.

Easy to find - about 100 yards inside the gate opposite St Nicholas Church. On RHS by the old lamp post. Difficult to get a plot as it is in a cutting. What is so special about this location?

Out to do a "Bit of shopping" in Warwick, had to do this one! Often been in to the castle grounds, but never approached the castle from this direction. Edit. The OS "Offence To Damage" Plate seems to be missing..? Check against previous photos.

A curious location in an old sandstone cutting leading to Warwick Castle. As a result, the TP is about 4m below the top of the bedrock, with no view in any direction, and no GPS signal. So 7 out of 10 for interest! Castle entry is £16.95!

Not a lot to add - except to reiterate that it's about as safe as an FBM could be - not much danger of redevelopment here!

In a gully leading up to Warwick Castle. I thought it would be on top of one of the earth banks so I had my lad climbing them to search for the block when I saw it by the side of the road. Although it is on land owned by the castle it is before the point at which you have to pay to get in.
