A quick stop off on the journey South after visiting family in Caithness - walked along the coast path from the burial ground at Kiltearn. The cut mark on the nearby fishing station looks to have been lost when the end wall collapsed.

Parked up at the church and walked along the shore to get here. Nice walk by the water and I liked the old abandoned house right on the shoreline. If the shore keeps eroding I don't think it will be standing for too much longer! Nice easy find here today once at GZ as I spotted the cache in the first place I looked. Probably about the lowest elevation trig pillar I have ever done and the pillar looks to be in good condition.

Log #68. Parked at burial ground, then followed the path along the shoreline. Trig is easily found, and offers good views in all directions, except NW due to a small copse of trees. I'd forgotten how much the folly at Fyrish stood out. Had my lunch at the trig and chatted with a nice older gentleman with perhaps the fattest Collie I've ever seen. [ExP-65/MiP-0/BM-3]
