Visited this on a coastal hike from Port Erin to Peel. You can see the tower on Corrins Hill for much of the walk and when you finally get there you're rewarded with a splendid view of Peel and beyond. Such a pretty city. The trig point is located visibly perhaps 20 or 30 yards from the tower itself, between the tower and Peel. Unless you're a beginner like me, don't confuse it with the weird pillars with balls on (!) surrounding the tower. If anyone can shed light on these, I'd be interested. Worth visiting time and again for the view.
