Approached from northwest. Parked in layover beside track entrance at NG807724. Follwed woodland track for approximately 300m where a sign labelled 'crash site' points to a mapped footpath which climbs ahead left. Followed this footpath until SW of the hill then a route avoiding rocks leads to the summit. Pillar in good condition. Spider centre open. Flush bracket faces west, compass measurement 283°. All sight holes open, innards partially blocked with dropped debris. Full 360° panoramic view from top.

Same as Big J. Very midgey today and didn't stop raining all day! Followed the marked path leading to the crash site. Immediately after the gate in the deer fence, turned left and wandered over rocky outcrops towards the obvious trig. Last bit is a bit of a scramble and apparently I made it look like Everest in the rain. It was a tad slippy in places! Trig has slight damage to a corner. No centre cap but all sight holes are open. Stunning airy perch overlooking the surrounding area. Also visited the nearby crash site which was sombre and poignant.

Included in walk around Fairy lochs and to visit site of World War 2 air crash by Liberator Bomber returning troops to America in 1945 when it became lost and hit Slioch, killing all on board. Trig has slight damage at corner on top, no cap or plug. Lovely compact rocky summit with stunning views over Gairloch and surrounding mountains.
