Parked on side of the the roundabout, seemed ok without causing a hazard. Easy find given the 2 fence posts painted yellow, on their sides facing the river. 1" bolt in conc block. Left it uncovered. ***Revisited 3 Nov 2023 with coinea. Block quickly found and partially dug out. Left it uncovered.

1 inch bolt in block. 1m to river side of fence. 2 fence posts with yellow stripes: facing the river it is 0.5 m left of the right hand one. Grass fairly short, easily found even in dark.

Easy with sketch, trusty Clwyd tape measure and trowel.

Exactly where the sketch said it was. Easily found even under a few inches of snow. Hole was water-free, fortunately! The paint on the two fenceposts is a godsend! No views to speak of....

Yup.. the dead leaves were duly shifted and replaced. The yellow markers are spot-on (who thought of that one?). Having worked at the nearby Telecom Street-cabinet more than once; this was technically a re-visit. ;-)
Pollock ..dead leaves and worms ;-)

No water today, just dead leaves and grass which I had to kick away in order to locate it. Fairly easy to find if you follow the sketch and the yellow marks on the river side of the fence posts.

Easy to find, when the grass is short anyway. The two relevant fence posts are painted with a yellow stripe on the river side. In a small hole, no more than a couple of inches deep, but filled with water.
