2cm bolt 1m E of base of summit cairn, in small outcrop. From NE, St John's, Tynwald cross roads, roads (parking also available opposite forest entrance) and track to mapped fork at 110m then a choice of unmapped paths; from forest edge a permissive path crossing pasture to summit.

1 m east of base of cairn on summit. Spotted by chance in sheeting rain. On a traverse from Peel to Garey to St John’s .

From Garey to SW. Verge parking on the lane ~250m W of 90deg bend in road. Green lane to SC 2589 7983, then a good track through the heather. Bolt and witness rivet found, both roughly on E (or NE) side of the large summit cairn; the Bolt closer.

A steep climb up through the plantation and then up the hill. The hill is private land but there is a sign to say permission has been granted for walkers to venture up the hill, if you have dogs to keep them under control. I found the bolt easily just to the side of the stone cairn at ground level. In good condition and previously unfound!
